what the…?

I picked up my bottle of Jack Daniels last night for my evening tipple, and noticed a sticker on the bottle that says:

“Warning! This product is fitted with a security device which is NOT MICROWAVABLE”

Imagine a horizontal line. This represents neutral mood; above this line indicates upbeat, below it varying degrees of depression.

If I were to draw a line parallel to that to indicate my mood, despite my great lifestyle, my wonderful wife, my gorgeous, intelligent kids, 99% of the time it would be below the neutral line. Sometimes my line plummets, but mostly I’m just enough below to be downbeat, sombre, unexcitable.

Why is this?
