Martin who?
Martin Sketchley is a British science fiction author. His novels to date are The Affinity Trap, The Destiny Mask and The Liberty Gun. He is represented by Simon Kavanagh at Mic Cheetham Associates.
Martin’s most recent published work is the short story Deciduous Trees, published in the BSFA’s 50th anniversary anthology Celebration.
Martin grew up in Tamworth, an average market town in the English county of Staffordshire – home to Sir Robert Peel, founder of the police force, and a castle that was once home to the King of Mercia. He is a descendant of Sir Thomas Guy, although this has never seemed to impress anybody very much.
Having worked in retailing then catalogue publishing he is now a writer and editor for a London-based publisher of reports analysing fast-moving consumer goods markets throughout the world.
He and his wife live in Birmingham, UK. They have two children.
